He took three wickets for 22 runs in four overs. At one time, Sri Lanka’s score was 70 runs for two wickets in 8.4 overs, but it lost seven wickets within 54 runs. Mustafizur Rahman took three wickets for 17 runs.

For Sri Lanka, only Pathum Nissanka could play well and scored 47 runs in 28 balls. Dhananjay de Silva played an innings of 21 runs.
