Tata Motors is all set to take its Nexon lineup a step further with exciting new features that are bound to grab attention. After its recent facelift, Tata has now introduced the CNG version of its popular subcompact SUV – Nexon in the Indian market. Tata Nexon iCNG has been launched at a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakh, ex-showroom. But that’s not all – the updated Nexon will also see changes in the EV version and the Dark variant. The company has introduced long-range updates for the Nexon EV. Talking about the Red Dark edition, it is an extension of the existing Dark variant.
The Nexon iCNG gets the existing 1.2L turbo-petrol engine that will now produce a maximum power output of 100 Hp as against a peak torque of 170 Nm. It will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. With the introduction of the CNG variant, the Nexon also gets a large panoramic sunroof and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster with navigation display. There will be a total of 8 variants on offer as well. The new Red Dark variant will stand out in terms of design. Tata has already found great success with its Dark Edition in models like the Harrier and Safari. The Nexon now gets this extension of the Dark Edition as well for a more glossy look with updated interiors.
