There is no possibility of lotus blooming in Punjab: CM Bhagwant Mann

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held a road show in Patiala on Friday and claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will face defeat in the state. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Mann said there is no possibility of ‘lotus’ (BJP’s election symbol) blooming in Punjab.

Campaigning for AAP candidate and minister Dr Balbir Singh, Mann said, “Punjab will become hero, this time 13-0 (AAP will win all 13 Lok Sabha seats in the state).” “The people of Punjab are ready to press the ‘broom button’ (AAP’s election symbol on the EVM machine) once again,” he said.

Taking a dig at the BJP, he said that two of their MPs had won in the last general elections, but this time there is no possibility of ‘lotus’ blooming in Punjab, they will get a big void in Punjab.

Mann said that he is grateful for the love and support he is receiving from the people, “because this love motivates me to work harder.” The Chief Minister said that the people of Punjab have voted for him in the 2022 assembly elections. Was trusted and given great responsibility.

He claimed that his government has so far provided 43,000 government jobs, 90 per cent of households have zero electricity bills while the last reaches of Punjab are getting canal water for the first time. Mann said that for the first time farmers are getting uninterrupted electricity for 11 hours a day. Voting for all 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab will be held in the final phase on June 1.
