People in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich district are living in fear. Dangerous wolves have spread terror in the district. Dangerous wolves come and tear apart and eat whatever they can lay their hands on. People of Bahraich district are forced to live in constant fear, as a pack of wolves has killed eight children and a woman in the area in the last 45 days.

The district’s forest department is using elephant dung and urine to ward off the wolf packs. To better understand the plight of the locals in Bahraich’s Mahsi sub-division, a team from India Today TV visited the area and spoke to the locals.

Speaking to India Today TV, the mother of Feroz, a seven-year-old boy who was attacked by a wolf, said that the carnivorous wolf barged into their house at night, grabbed the child by the neck and fled. “I tried hard to save him by pulling the wolf’s legs but was unsuccessful. The wolf dragged Feroz to a field about 200 metres away. When I raised an alarm, the villagers gathered and the wolf finally left him in the field, injured. He was later rushed to a hospital where he was treated for 13 days and survived,” she added.
Firoz’s mother also showed the marks on his face, neck, head and ears after the wolf attack. Similarly, another seven-year-old boy Rahul was also attacked by the wolf and his mother narrated the horrific incident while speaking to India Today TV.
