‘Those who used to sing the praises of Pakistan till yesterday, are today…’, BJP targets Farooq Abdullah

BJP’s National General Secretary and Jammu and Kashmir in-charge Tarun Chugh held a big meeting of the party today regarding the elections. After this, he said that BJP is fully engaged in election preparations in Jammu and Kashmir. A complete review of the first phase of elections has been done here. There has also been a lot of discussion on how to contest the elections in the next phase. He said that the opinion of all the major leaders has also been taken. In Jammu and Kashmir, BJP has entered the elections with full strength without any alliance.

Tarun Chugh further said that on the other hand, those who kept singing the tune of Pakistan and tried to instigate the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir to fight, are now asking for votes in the name of unity and integrity. He said that Farooq Abdullah is today talking about unity, integrity, unity in diversity. The person who used to talk about Pakistan till yesterday. Those who snatched the rights of the citizens are now talking about humanity and diversity. This is a double character and double face. Their manifesto is a bundle of lies. Every word in it is full of lies.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday challenged the National Conference (NC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Congress for an open discussion on terrorism, violence and public safety. The party also criticized all three parties for the turbulent period of 1990s in Jammu and Kashmir. The party said that it has a zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism and casualties of common people. BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir in-charge Tarun Chugh told reporters here, “I challenge the Gandhi-Nehru, Abdullah and Mufti families – who are like medicine shops running from generation to generation – to an open debate on the state of terrorism, security and civil security during their and our tenure and their misleading claims and conspiracies about Article 370 and 35A.” He said, “We are ready for an open debate anywhere, in which a journalist will mediate and a TV channel will broadcast it.”
