Actress and model Kadambari Jethani recently made some allegations that she was wrongly arrested. Actress Kadambari Jethani accused the police officers of wrongly and ‘hastily arresting’ and ‘harassing’ her as part of a conspiracy in the case registered against her. The whole matter was investigated and it was found that something was wrong. After investigating the allegations, three IPS officers including a Director General have been suspended. The actress said that a false case was foisted on her to intimidate her to withdraw a complaint filed against a top corporate head in Mumbai and she was kept in Andhra Pradesh jail for 42 days before being released on bail.
Kadambari Jethani’s statement came after the suspension of IPS officers
Mumbai model and actress Kadambari Jethani who was allegedly illegally arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police. Now she has released her statement on this whole matter. Speaking to a news channel, Kadambari Jethani said that I believe that there is a lot of political manipulation, money and power involved in the arrest. If that level of money and power was not involved, I would say that there would not have been a conspiracy of this level. She further said that I believe that there is a high level of political influence, money and power involved in this.

Why was Kadambari Jethani arrested?
The actress was arrested in February this year based on a complaint by YSR Congress Party leader K Vidyasagar. He filed an FIR without following proper guidelines. After which the actress was wrongly arrested. The Andhra Pradesh government suspended three senior IPS officers in connection with the complaint of Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethani. Jethani had alleged wrongful arrest and imprisonment by the police.
What allegations did Kadambari Jethani make?
Former intelligence chief PSR Anjaneyulu, former Vijayawada police commissioner Kranti Rana Tata and former Vijayawada deputy commissioner Vishal Gunni were the three IPS officers who were issued suspension orders signed by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. They were suspended under Rule 3(1) of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969. Jethwani had filed a complaint with the NTR district police commissioner in the first week of August, alleging that the three officers acted in haste after YSRCP leader and filmmaker KV Vidyasagar Rao levelled allegations of forgery and extortion against them. In his complaint, Jethwani alleged that the police arrested him and his father and brought them to Vijayawada where they were held hostage for three days before being produced in court. The court later granted them bail. He alleged that the police officers mentally tortured both of them.
Who were those three IPS officers who were suspended
The Andhra Pradesh police chief ordered an inquiry after receiving her complaint. Officials said the action against the three IPS officers was taken based on this inquiry. The FIR filed based on her complaint also names Assistant Commissioner Hanumanth Rao and Ibrahimpatnam Circle Inspector Ibrahimpatnam C Satyanarayana, who are already suspended. According to the inquiry report, IPS officers Kranti Rana Tata and Vishal Gunni started arresting the actress on the instructions of former Director General of Intelligence Anjaneyulu even before producer Vidyasagar Rao filed a formal police complaint. The inquiry report said that acting on verbal instructions, the officers went to Mumbai and arrested her on February 2 without any written order or sufficient evidence.
