New Delhi. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva today appealed to Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to the BJP organization and MPs to provide electricity meters without NOC to the urbanized villages, unauthorized colonies of Delhi, government land allottees in various government schemes and warehouses and factories in non-conforming areas. Accepting the demand and issuing the order letter has been welcomed.
Virendra Sachdeva has said that in the lives of lakhs of citizens and businessmen of urbanized villages and unauthorized colonies etc., tonight will be like the night of Delhi Diwali because now they too will be able to get valid electricity meters. Sachdeva has said that first Congress and then Aam Aadmi Party leaders got the colonies cut for their political and economic gains but did not provide them basic facilities like legal electricity, water connection and sewer, due to which people were forced to buy electricity and water secretly.
Delhi BJP President has said that last month the Lieutenant Governor had also fulfilled the 15 year old demand of the people for opening land mutation in rural areas and today NOC for electricity connection was issued. By accepting the demand of BJP organization and MPs to end the compulsion of Rs. 10 lakhs, the Lieutenant Governor has brought Diwali for lakhs of Delhiites a month before Diwali.
