Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and JMM leader Champai Soren has reacted to the news of his switching sides. He told the media at Delhi airport that we are still where we are. Apart from this, Champai Soren said that he has come for some personal work. He also told that he has come to Delhi to meet his daughter. Let us tell you, there were speculations for the last few days that Soren may join the saffron party along with some MLAs of the party.
When asked about meeting BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday, Champai Soren replied that we have not met anyone yet. Let us tell you, on Friday there was news that Champai is angry with the way he was removed from the post of Chief Minister after Hemant Soren returned from jail.

On Saturday, reports of his meeting with Suvendu Adhikari came to light and then reports of his joining the BJP along with six other MLAs of the party started coming in. The six MLAs who are with Soren include Dashrath Gagrai, Ramdas Soren, Chamra Linda, Lobin Hembrom and Samir Mohanty.

Hemant Soren was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on January 31 in an alleged land scam case, after which Champai Soren, considered close to the Soren family, was appointed Chief Minister. Later, Hemant Soren got bail from the Jharkhand High Court and Champai Soren was removed from the post so that Hemant could be made the Chief Minister of Jharkhand again.
