The Sanjauli Muslim Mosque Committee has distanced itself from the statements made by AIMIM Delhi president Shoaib Jamai in a video circulated on social media. In the video shot inside the Sanjauli mosque, Jamai is seen questioning the legality of the buildings around the mosque, which had triggered communal tension in the state a few weeks ago. He said that when the surrounding buildings are of equal height, how can a single mosque be unauthorised? We will file a PIL in the High Court over the matter.
Sanjauli Mosque Case Shimla Police has identified the people involved in stone pelting during the protest on September 11. Police said that the case is being investigated as well as the unlawful assembly with common objectives.
