BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla, while giving a statement on Team India going to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025, has said that the participation of the team depends on the government.

BCCI Vice President has given a statement to ANI regarding the Champions Trophy to be played in Pakistan next year. Where he said that in the matter of Champions Trophy, whatever the Government of India tells us will be done. We send our team only when the Government of India gives permission. In that case we will go by the decision of the Government of India.

Let us tell you that, it was being claimed in media reports that India can go to Pakistan for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy and all the matches of the team will potentially be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The Pakistan Cricket Board has submitted a draft for discussion in the board meeting to be held in Sri Lanka in July. The ICC security team has visited Pakistan to assess the arrangements.

On behalf of PCB, it has been said that, we have sent the schedule of the matches to be held in Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy. The ICC security team came and we had a very good meeting.
