BJP is using its full strength in the state. Voting will be held in Jharkhand in two phases on November 13 and November 20. Counting of votes will take place on November 23. BJP is also trying to woo its allies in the state. The saffron party plans to leave only 12 seats for other NDA allies. This includes Nitish Kumar led JDU 4, AJSUP and Chirag Paswan’s party. It is being claimed that BJP has almost finalized its candidates for 55 seats.

At the same time, talks are also going on with colleagues. Nitish Kumar-led JDU is pressing for 4 seats, while BJP wants to leave 2 seats for the party. There is disagreement on two seats, which both the parties are likely to resolve soon. AJSUP has demanded 16 seats while the saffron party is ready to give up 10-11 seats. AJSUP has a presence in many seats and the saffron party can use this organization to take on its arch rival JMM. One seat may go to Chirag Paswan’s account. It is possible that their candidates may contest elections on BJP’s symbol only.
