Team India’s Gabbar i.e. Shikhar Dhawan has said goodbye to international cricket. After which he joined the Legends League Cricket on Monday 26 August. The 38-year-old left-handed batsman can now participate in the T20 league outside the IPL. Dhawan has played 34 Tests, 167 ODIs and 68 T20 matches for India, in which he has scored a total of 12,286 international runs. Legends League Cricket will be organized in September.
Shikhar Dhawan said on joining Legends League Cricket, “My body is still ready for the demands of the game. I am comfortable with my decision and cricket is an integral part of my personality. It will never leave me. I am looking forward to reuniting with my cricket friends and continuing to entertain my fans. We will create new memories together.”
