India should strongly raise the issue of atrocities on minorities in Bangladesh: Akhilesh

Lucknow. Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav raised the issue of atrocities on minorities in neighboring country Bangladesh and on Monday demanded the government to strongly raise this issue at the international level. Yadav said on Twitter, no community, whether it is the majority of Bangladesh with a different viewpoint or the Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist or any other religion-sect-belief minority, should be a victim of violence. He said in the same post, the Indian government should strictly raise this issue at the international level as a protection of human rights. This is also a very sensitive issue of our defense and internal security.
The SP president had earlier said on X, without naming Bangladesh, that it is the duty of every country to protect its country and its citizens. He also said that history teaches that a government that uses the political situation of another country to fulfill its political designs weakens the country both internally and externally. Akhilesh posted on X, world history is witness to the fact that in many countries, for various reasons, right or wrong, according to the circumstances of that time, violent mass revolutions, military coups, anti-government movements have taken place.
He said that in such turbulent times, only that country has been revived which did not discriminate against anyone on any basis. The SP President said, it is the duty of every country to protect the country and its citizens. On the basis of positive human thinking, it is also the human duty of every civilized society to protect every resident-neighbor as an individual, no matter where he is in any time, place or situation. He said that sometimes single level interference by any other country affected by the internal affairs of a country is not considered appropriate in terms of global diplomatic standards, but in such a situation, the affected country should take a courageous positive vocal initiative along with the world fraternity, activating its silent foreign policy to protect its people.
So that meaningful solutions can be found. He said that the government which remains a silent spectator in such a situation should believe that this is a failure of its foreign policy, because the conditions in the countries adjacent to it in all directions are neither normal nor favorable for it. The SP chief said, “This means that from the ‘geopolitical’ point of view, there has been a big mistake in its foreign policy. Peace can be brought to various troubled land parts of the world only through mutual understanding and brotherhood by binding a large geographical area with the thread of cultural-neutrality. Akhilesh said that harmony and peace arising from positive thinking is the path to human prosperity.
