Scammers try to gain access to the Aadhaar system. This can lead to financial loss to the users as well as identity theft and loss of personal data. This can also lead to your bank details getting into their hands. They may have to face legal issues.
Check Aadhaar misuse
  • If your Aadhaar is being misused then you have a way through which you can check it.
  • First of all go to myAadhar portal, and now login with your Aadhar number, captcha code and OTP.
  • After this, enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and login. Then select Authentication History. Now select the date to see the history of your Aadhaar usage. If there is any suspicious activity, report it to the UIDAI website.
How to complain
If you want to report misuse of your Aadhaar, you can call 1947. Apart from this, you can also email at hepl@uidai.gov.in or register a complaint on the UIDAI website.
