New Delhi. Former Delhi BJP President and MP Manoj Tiwari, while addressing a press conference today, said that both the basis and character of Aam Aadmi Party is of lies and loot. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Marlena has become a credit thief. He lied shamelessly and said that DDA had issued an order that people living in kutcha colonies should get NOC for electricity connection. Only if there is a need will the connection be found, it is a complete lie and a conspiracy to spread confusion among the public. DDA’s NOC was only for cutting the new colony.

Media head Shri Praveen Shankar Kapoor, who was conducting the press conference, said that Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Marlena is a lying machine and she is still running her government on the same basis on which her leader Arvind Kejriwal was running it. Office Minister Brijesh Rai was also present in the press conference. Manoj Tiwari said that now corruption has become the identity of Aam Aadmi Party. The problem of non-installation of electricity meters in Delhi started coming just 8 to 10 months before the Lok Sabha elections in the country because the Aam Aadmi Party government was conspiring among the residents of irregular colonies and slums of Delhi to defame and confuse the central government and get their votes. A move was made which was not successful.
The work of providing electricity connections and installing meters is the responsibility of Delhi Government. Therefore, as soon as people came to us with this problem, we met the Honorable Lieutenant Governor and found a solution. Tiwari said that DDA’s N.O.C. There never was, nor is there, nor will be any need for installing meters. DDA’s NOC is needed only for cutting new colonies so that DDA can arrange roads, sewers and basic facilities. Taking advantage of this, the vicious Aam Aadmi Party government worked to spread confusion among the people.
He said that this game started when Atishi was the Electricity Minister. For 5-5 years, connections were given to 300-400 houses from the same connection and up to Rs 21 per unit was recovered from those poor families. The givers were AAP workers who created this crisis by withdrawing these connections before the 2024 elections. This is happening even today in many places where I myself am going to go and expose them. We MPs had complained about this to the Lieutenant Governor.
Manoj Tiwari said that on this complaint, NOC for the meter was issued. The work of ending the credit was done by the Lieutenant Governor, for which the people of Delhi expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi under the “THANK YOU MODI JI” program on 6th October in Burari. But the Aam Aadmi Party again stole the credit. Did not avoid the trend. He said that today when we go to any corner of Delhi, the people of Delhi come only to complain about the increased electricity bills. Every citizen of Delhi is troubled by the increase in electricity charges.

He said that the Marlena government has no intention of bringing development in Delhi and is only interested in politics of lies, corruption and loot. If they really had the intention to do something, then the Modi government would have done the work of strengthening 1729 unauthorized colonies of Delhi, but the Aam Aadmi Party government did not do any development work in them.
