On Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, BJP leaders paid floral tributes at Shri Valmiki Temple and greeted his followers by participating in the Rath Yatra.

New Delhi. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva along with a delegation of senior party leaders today visited the Balmiki Temple at Mandir Marg in New Delhi to pay floral tributes on the birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki and in the evening, the procession of Maharishi Valmiki was taken out from the Red Fort. Joined and greeted his followers.
State President along with Organization General Secretary Pawan Rana, MP Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, Yogendra Chandolia, Mrs. Kamaljit Sehrawat, Praveen Khandelwal and Subansuri Swaraj, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Vijendra Gupta, State Officer Vishnu Mittal, Rajiv Babbar, Mrs. Sunita Kangra, Brijesh Rai, Rajiv Rana, Mohanlal Gihara bowed before the statue of Maharishi Valmiki in the temple on his birth anniversary and received blessings from the revered Guru Vidyarthi Ji Maharaj present there.
In the afternoon, State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva along with other dignitaries joined the Maharishi Balmiki Shobha Rath Yatra starting from the Red Fort and going up to the temple road and greeted the thousands of followers of Maharishi Valmiki present there.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, while congratulating everyone on the birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki, has said that the message of Lord Valmiki is a message of organizing the entire society and of peace. He is known as the first link of Sanskrit language and the way he has worked to spread the message of Lord Ram to the people through the holy book like Ramayana will always be remembered for a long time.
Sachdeva said that the country’s famous Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also very sensitive towards Valmiki Samaj and we can see its example in many places. First of all, he expressed his faith towards the society by paying obeisance to the people of Valmiki community in Varanasi.
He said that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister for the first time, he started the cleanliness campaign within the country from the Valmiki Temple located on Panchkuiya Road, Delhi, which shows his respect for the Valmiki community.
