Rudransh lost his leg in an accident when he was just 8 years old. The basic mantra of his life is to be prepared for any situation and to have faith in his abilities.

This player from Bharatpur, Rajasthan did not let his disability come in the way of his life. He performed well in shooting and reached the number one position in 500 meter pistol (SH1). Now Rundrash’s goal is to win the gold medal in Paris Paralympics. For which he is working hard, which includes an extra pistol along with a tool kit for his artificial leg so that it can help if it breaks.

On the other hand, watching shooter Manu Bhaker struggling with pistol malfunction during the Tokyo Olympics was a big lesson for Rundrash Khandelwal. Since then, Rundrash always carries an extra pistol for both domestic and international competitions.

Let us tell you that Rundrash Khandelwal’s leg was cut off in 2015 while watching fireworks during a cousin’s wedding in Bharatpur. He said, there was a short-circuit in the electronic gadget controlling the fireworks and a flying metal plate cut off my left leg just below the knee. After which, despite several treatments, the leg could not be saved and since then he is wearing an artificial leg.
