India has got its sixth medal on the fourth day of Paris Paralympics 2024. Actually, India’s Preeti Pal has won the bronze medal in the women’s 200 meter T35 event. China’s Jia Zhou won the gold medal in this event. 23-year-old Preeti took a total of 30.01 seconds to complete her race. While the second place was also held by China’s Guo Qianqian, who completed her race in 29.09 seconds.
Earlier, Preeti won the medal in the women’s 100 meter event with a personal best time of 14.21 seconds. China’s Zhou Jia managed to win the gold while her compatriot Guo Qianqian won the silver medal. Zhou clocked 13.58 seconds.
Whereas Guo took 13.74 seconds. Preeti’s bronze medal is India’s first medal in para athletics at the Paris Paralympics.
