Cummins arrived in Bridgetown on Saturday. Under his captaincy, Sunrisers Hyderabad reached the final in the IPL. Cummins told cricket.com.au, “Maybe I am in my best form in ten years.” Australia’s Test and ODI captain Cummins has never played in the West Indies. He is confident of a good performance on the basis of his IPL experience.
He said, “We played 17 consecutive matches in IPL. In T20 cricket, accurate yorkers or slow balls are more needed than in other formats and I have bowled well in this format. ” He said, “In T20 bowling, it is important to think about the sequence of bowling. You come to know very quickly what is working and what is not. If it does not work in the first match, then you think it will never work but then slowly it starts working. It is good to come here with this confidence.
