In a podcast interview with ANI editor Smita Prakash, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, pointing towards the leaders who comment on Pakistan, said that it is the country’s misfortune that some people ask for votes in India but their heart beats for Pakistan. Also, referring to the terrorist incidents that took place in the country during the rule of Congress, he said that now the country is in safe hands. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completely silenced the terrorists and if Pakistan raises its eyes towards India, it will be crushed to dust.

On the issue of Agniveer Yojana, the Union Minister surrounded the Congress and said that it has a long record of corruption in defense deals. During the UPA regime, defense equipment was also not made available to the soldiers on time. That is why the Congress has no right to raise questions about the Agniveer Yojana. The BJP leader claimed that the government has already arranged 100 percent employment for soldiers who retired at a young age. Reservation has also been arranged for them in many government departments including central paramilitary forces, police recruitment of various states.
