Ayodhya Gangrape | UP police will seek permission from court for DNA test of Ayodhya gangrape accused

The police has started the paperwork in the court for the DNA test of the accused of gangrape of a 12-year-old girl in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. After getting permission from the court, the police will conduct the DNA test of the accused Moin Khan and Raju Khan.
On July 30, Ayodhya police arrested Samajwadi Party official Moin Khan. Moin Khan runs a bakery. He is accused of gangraping a minor girl and making her pregnant. She used to work in Moin Khan’s bakery.A sample of the uterus of the rape victim admitted for treatment at King George Medical University (KGMU) has also been kept.

The DNA test will be conducted after the investigating officer gets permission from the court.
According to police sources, the two raped the girl two months ago and the incident was recorded. The incident came to light when a recent medical examination revealed that the teenager was pregnant.
On August 2, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met the minor girl. After meeting the girl, he also ordered the suspension of two policemen for delaying the investigation of the case.

Sohawal Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Ashok Kumar said the accused’s bakery was sealed by the Food Adulteration Department after it was found to be illegal, following which the district administration demolished it.
