Where do paper leaks happen from?

You must have often heard that before the exam, the papers are kept under very tight security. Even the board exam papers are stored in rooms with CCTV and locks. The printing presses near the exam centre are shut down. But still the papers get leaked. Most of the papers get leaked from the printing press. This is where most of the people come in contact with the papers. The needle of suspicion first turns towards the people working here. There is also third party involvement in bank lockers. Apart from this, there is also a suspicion of leak from the exam centre.

Who can leak the paper?

In paper leak cases, the roles of many people are under suspicion. They are called suspects. When the investigation begins, they are the first ones to be questioned. During the investigation of paper leak cases in many states, the roles of these people have been found to be suspicious-

1- Employees of the printing press where the paper (which was leaked) was printed,

2- Coaching centers that grow their business by showing great results,

3- Education consultants who are in contact with the students,

4- Admission Agent,

5- Paper leak mafia (these people charge lakhs of rupees from students per paper),

6- Employees of the Commission who are greedy for black money worth crores,

7- Candidates who wish to get a job or admission without qualification and hard work

How can NEET be cleaned?

The exam can be conducted offline with carbonless OMR sheets. After the exam, students can be given a copy of the OMR sheet with them. The BITS pattern should be adopted for online medium, in which the correct and wrong answers appear on the screen after the paper is over, after which an SMS is also sent to the students. After this, model answers and questions can be released publicly. Many experts have also suggested conducting the exam in two phases. Conducting the exam in two phases will have this advantage, students who are not serious about the exam will not be able to qualify for the second paper. In this way, only studious or serious students will reach the second phase. Apart from this, to ensure transparency of NEET, the government itself can come on the front foot and take responsibility. Like UPSC exam is conducted. By sidelining NTA, it can be conducted in two or three phases like JEE or UPSC.
