He said, “After 10 years of continuous failures, I am getting some success. Life in cricket has taught me everything that I needed to learn before coming to this tournament.” Samson has played only 16 ODIs and 25 T20 Internationals so far. He said, “IPL had completely occupied my mind. There was so much to do and being a captain, I had to think so much. My mind was always occupied but somewhere the thought of the World Cup was in my mind.” He said, “It is a big thing to be selected in the World Cup team. This is the best thing in my career. I have always tried to learn from failures in my career.
