Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal reached the party office with his family and ministers before surrendering in Tihar Jail in the money laundering case related to the liquor excise policy. He also addressed the workers at the party office. He said, “The Supreme Court has given me 21 days bail for election campaign. I want to thank the Supreme Court for this. Today I am going to Tihar Jail again. I did not waste even a minute of these 21 days. I campaigned not only for AAP but also for various parties.

The AAP chief said that PM Modi said in an interview that I believe there is no evidence or recovery against Kejriwal because he is an experienced thief. Let’s assume that I am an experienced thief, you have no evidence or any recovery against me so you put me in jail without proof? … He gave a message to the whole country that can I put him in jail? What is your stand in a fake case? I will arrest anyone and put him in jail. He said that I am fighting against this dictatorship and our country cannot tolerate such dictatorship. He said that Bhagat Singh had said that when power becomes dictatorship then jail becomes responsibility. Bhagat Singh was hanged to free the country. This time when I am going to jail, I don’t know when I will come back… If Bhagat Singh is hanged then I am also ready to be hanged.
