Cylinder became cheaper by 72 rupees
According to the information, oil marketing companies have changed the prices of commercial gas cylinders. The price of gas cylinders has come down to Rs 69.50 in Delhi, Rs 72 in Kolkata, Rs 69.50 in Mumbai and Rs 70.50 in Chennai from June 1.
Prices reduced for the third consecutive month
Let me tell you that this is the third consecutive month when the price of commercial gas cylinders has been reduced. Earlier, the price of commercial gas cylinders was also reduced in April and May. In the month of May, the oil marketing company had reduced the price of cylinders by up to Rs 20.
Let us tell you that according to the new prices of commercial gas cylinders, its price in Delhi has come down from Rs 1745.50 to Rs 1676. In Kolkata, its price has reached Rs 1787 instead of Rs 1859. To buy a commercial gas cylinder in Mumbai, one will have to spend Rs 1629 instead of Rs 1698.50. In Chennai, instead of Rs 1911, one will have to spend Rs 1840.50.
The reduction in the price of commercial gas cylinders may provide some relief to the pockets of the common man. At the same time, no change has been made in the price of domestic gas cylinders used in homes. According to the website of IOCL, the price of a domestic gas cylinder in the national capital Delhi is Rs 803.
