Earlier today, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky extended warm wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his victory. In a social media post, he wrote I welcome the successful conduct of the world’s largest democratic elections in India. Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP and the BJP-led NDA on their third consecutive victory in India’s parliamentary elections.
Further, he underlined India’s growing influence in the global perspective and emphasized how everyone in the world recognizes the significance and importance of India’s role in global affairs. The Election Commission of India has declared the results of all Lok Sabha constituencies, in which the Bharatiya Janata Party has won 240 out of 543 seats and the Congress 99. The BJP-led NDA is well above the majority mark of 272 in the 543-member Lok Sabha. 201For the first time after 4, BJP has fallen short of the magic figure.
Further, the Ukrainian President expressed hope that the ties between India and Ukraine will strengthen under the leadership of PM Modi.
