‘NDA government will be formed under the leadership of Narendra Modi’, Amit Shah said- We are firmly committed to serving the people

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Wednesday elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as its leader, setting the stage for him to return as PM for a record third time. The alliance leaders held a crucial meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence to discuss details on government formation. After the meeting, Amit Shah tweeted, “Congratulations to PM Narendra Modi Ji on being unanimously elected the leader of the NDA. The last 10 years have turned out to be an era of massive development and welfare under the visionary leadership of Modi Ji. The NDA is firmly committed to serve the country and its people with new strength and momentum.”

During the NDA leaders’ meeting at PM Modi’s residence 7, LKM in Delhi, a release said, all the leaders congratulated PM Modi for his leadership and the progress our country has made under his leadership. They appreciated PM Modi’s hard work and efforts in nation building. The NDA allies said PM Modi has a clear vision for a developed India. They lauded PM Modi’s role in making India proud in the world. The NDA leaders lauded PM Modi’s efforts towards poverty alleviation and pledged to continue the good work. PM Modi said this is a historic mandate for a third consecutive government which India last got 60 years ago.

The NDA allies meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence included Bihar CM and JDU chief Nitish Kumar, Telugu Desam Party (TDP)’s Chandrababu Naidu, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP)’s Chirag Paswan, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD)’s Jayant Chaudhary, HD Kumaraswamy, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Anupriya Patel, Eknath Shinde, besides BJP’s top leadership including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda and others. Sources said that after the meeting with NDA MPs on June 7, the NDA allies will meet President Draupadi Murmu. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda will discuss government formation with the allies. JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha said that an NDA meeting was held at the PM residence, which was also attended by the CM (Nitish Kumar). Everyone put forth their views and thanked the people for the mandate given to the NDA for the third time. Soon a government will be formed under the leadership of Narendra Modi and soon there will be a meeting of all the MPs.
