The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday filed a police complaint in Delhi against Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on reservation during his recent US visit. The complaint was lodged at Punjabi Bagh, Tilak Nagar, Parliament Street police stations. Apart from this, BJP has filed a complaint against Rahul Gandhi in Madhya Pradesh. These leaders lodged a complaint against Rahul Gandhi’s statement on reservation for SC, ST and OBC communities. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh BJP President VD Sharma said that BJP Madhya Pradesh has lodged an FIR against Rahul Gandhi. He has continuously insulted a person holding a constitutional post like the Prime Minister of India. He said that BJP National President JP Nadda has written a letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge saying that Rahul Gandhi has insulted PM Narendra Modi 100 times and has also used abusive language against him.
Sharma said that Rahul Gandhi has committed treason. He has insulted the Indian Prime Minister in other countries. BJP workers across the country have filed an FIR against Rahul Gandhi and we demand strict and immediate legal action against him. At the same time, an FIR was registered against Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu at High Grounds Police Station in Bengaluru on the complaint of Congress leaders for making statements against Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint by an official of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. A police officer said that an FIR has been registered under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code at High Grounds Police Station here.
