T20 World Cup 2024: Saurabh Netravalkar has played with KL Rahul and Jaydev Unadkat, avenged years old defeat from Pakistan

June 6 will be known as a historic day in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. In fact, a big upset was seen in the tournament on this day. Where host America defeated Pakistan in the Super Over at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. The Pakistan cricket team lost to America in all three departments in this match and thus had to start its journey in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 with a defeat.

This is America’s second consecutive win. Pakistan has to play its second match against India on 9 June on the same ground. Captain Monank Patel and Saurabh Netravalkar both performed well from America’s side. Both are of Indian origin. Monank was chosen as the Player of the Match for his strong fifty. After this match, Saurabh Netravalkar is being discussed everywhere.

Netravalkar was born in Mumbai and this player has also played the Under-19 World Cup for India. Saurabh was a part of the Indian team in the ICC Under-19 World Cup played in 2010 and not only this, he also played the quarter-final match against Pakistan on behalf of India, where India had to face defeat by two wickets in the last over. In that match, Saurabh took one wicket for 16 runs in five overs. He dismissed Pakistan’s Ahmed Shehzad.

Even though he could not make his team win against Pakistan 14 years ago, but the way he bowled against Pakistan 14 years later and then bowled the super over brilliantly, he avenged the 14-year-old defeat. In the 2010 Under-19 World Cup, players like KL Rahul, Mayang Agarwal, Sandeep Sharma and Jaydev Unadkat were part of the Indian team.
