Narendra Modi said that he will hand over the list of ministers to President Murmu before the swearing-in ceremony. He said that the President just called me and asked me to work as the nominated Prime Minister and he has informed me about the swearing-in ceremony.

After meeting President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this 18th Lok Sabha is a house of new energy, youthful energy; people have given another chance to the NDA government. He said that I want to assure the people that we will leave no stone unturned to fulfill their aspirations in our next term. The President has invited me to form the next government, he has been informed that the swearing-in ceremony may take place on Sunday.

Narendra Modi said that I will hand over the list of ministers to President Murmu before the swearing-in ceremony. I have told the President that we will be comfortable on the evening of June 9. Now the Rashtrapati Bhavan will work on the rest of the details and by then we will hand over the list of the Council of Ministers to the President. After this the swearing-in ceremony will take place.

The Prime Minister said that this is the first election after Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav… For the third time, the people have given the NDA government a chance to serve the country. I assure the people of the country that in the last two terms… the speed at which the country has progressed, change is visible in every sector and 25 crore people coming out of poverty is a proud moment for every Indian. Earlier, the leaders of the National Democratic Alliance met President Draupadi Murmu and staked claim to form the government at the Center. The NDA held an important meeting with its allies including Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu, Chirag Paswan, Jayant Chaudhary, Anupriya Patel, during which they approved the name of PM Modi as the leader of their alliance.
