“Rahul Gandhi’s family is out on bail on corruption charges in the National Herald case…Rahul Gandhi has no moral right to level corruption allegations against anyone,” Rane told ANI.

A day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were involved in the biggest stock market scam, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitesh Rane hit back at him, saying he (Rahul Gandhi) has no moral right to level corruption allegations against anyone. “Rahul Gandhi’s family is out on bail in the National Herald case for corruption… Rahul Gandhi has no moral right to level corruption allegations against anyone,” Rane told ANI.

He said that ‘Rahul Gandhi and his party only understand the language of scams and corruption… They should come up with facts and evidence. No one takes their allegations seriously. Earlier, Gandhi had alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah had given investment advice to people during the Lok Sabha election campaign and retail investors also lost lakhs of crores of rupees due to “fake exits”.

Indian stocks witnessed a bloodbath on the day the Lok Sabha results were announced, with the incumbent BJP performing below par and falling short of exit poll predictions and a majority figure on its own. Many investors booked profits from the gains they had made a day after exit poll predictions indicated a comfortable majority for the BJP.
