India will play against world champion Germany on Saturday while Britain will take on India on Sunday. After the Belgium leg and two matches in London, India is in fourth place with 24 points from 14 matches. Germany is in sixth and Britain is in seventh place.

Vice-captain Hardik Singh said, “We played some good hockey but we need to improve in some areas. Our aim in these two matches will be to start aggressively. We will try to maintain the momentum by playing good hockey.” In Belgium, India defeated Argentina in a shootout but lost to Belgium 1-4.

Belgium defeated them in the shootout after which India beat Argentina 5-4. In London, India beat Germany 3-0 but lost to Britain 1-3. Hardik said, “The whole team knows how important the Pro League matches are for the preparation of Paris Olympics, so we will leave no stone unturned.
