Young voters in Punjab’s Patiala Lok Sabha constituency said that employment is the main issue for them. Apart from this, people said that they will vote for local candidates and issues. Along with this, they also informed about voting for basic facilities like roads, electricity and water.

During the election campaign, CricketInFocus’s team reached Patiala Lok Sabha constituency in Punjab. Where our editor Neeraj Kumar Dubey asked the voters about their opinion outside the polling booths.

Young voters said that employment is the main issue for them. Apart from this, people said that they will vote for local candidates and issues. Along with this, they informed about voting for basic facilities like roads, electricity and water. Voters claimed that the Modi government at the center is continuously doing development work at its level. Some other people who came to vote raised the issue of the ever-increasing population in the country and said that the upcoming government needs to pay attention to population growth and they will also vote on this issue.

Apart from this, people have demanded that the government should take strict steps to strengthen the weak governance system in the country and the state. Along with this, they also accused the government officials of corruption and negligence. They said that the public representatives will have to raise their voice to improve this system. That is why they will vote to elect an honest candidate. The women who came to cast their votes said that the upcoming government should make such schemes for women so that they can become self-reliant. Criticizing the Bhagwant Mann government, they said that no development work is being done in the state and the law and order situation has also completely collapsed.

During this time, election officials on election duty have informed that all kinds of arrangements including sports have been made at the polling stations to take care of the small children accompanying the voters. Apart from this, social welfare organizations have also made arrangements for cold water and sherbet for the voters in this scorching heat outside the polling station.
