Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Wednesday announced that the Union Cabinet has approved the proposal to hold simultaneous elections across the country at the same level for both the Lok Sabha and state assemblies. Regarding this, BJP President JP Nadda has posted on X. He wrote that the Union Cabinet chaired by Narendra Modi has accepted the recommendations of the high-level committee on the ‘One Nation One Election’ initiative.
