UP Exit Polls 2024: BJP’s dominance in Yogi’s state, Rahul-Akhilesh duo is not doing well!

Uttar Pradesh, a crucial battleground of the country, has concluded voting for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. With 80 seats, the state is a must-win for any party aiming to lead a government at the Centre. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is contesting from Varanasi for the third time, while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Rae Bareli. Meanwhile, Smriti Irani is trying to recapture Amethi.

According to India TV-CNX exit poll, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may win 62-68 seats, Samajwadi Party may get 10-16 seats, Congress 1-3 seats, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) 2 seats, Apna Dal is expected to get 2 seats. Uttar Pradesh has the maximum number of Lok Sabha seats at 80. It is the most important state for any political party that wants to take the lead in the Lok Sabha elections. Voting took place on all 80 seats of UP in all seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The results of the general elections will be declared on June 4.

The ABP-CVoter results for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 have predicted not very favorable results for the opposition. However, the BJP, which is aiming for a clean sweep, is likely to have an upper hand as per the exit polls. The opposition INDIA Bloc is likely to win 15 to 17 seats with 36.9% vote share, while the BJP-led NDA is projected to win 62-66 seats with 44.1% of the votes. The predictions indicate that the BJP may only get 68±7 seats, according to News 24’s Chanakya survey. Congress is projected to get 12±6 seats.
