It was followed by HDFC Bank, Airtel, Infosys and SBI. It said, “TCS’s brand value was $ 49.7 billion. This is 16 percent more than last year. The main reason for the increase in brand value is innovation and investment in digital transformation, especially in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).”

According to the Kantar Brandz report, 54 brands have increased their brand value on an annual basis during the last year. Also, brands from all business sectors have accelerated growth. The list is dominated by brands related to financial services. A total of 17 brands have contributed 28 percent to the overall brand value ranking. HFDC Bank is in second place with a valuation of $ 38.3 billion, while public sector State Bank of India is in fifth place with a valuation of $ 18 billion.

ICICI Bank is at the sixth position with a valuation of $15.6 billion and LIC is at the 10th position with a valuation of $11.5 billion. Online food ordering platform Zomato has grown the fastest. Its brand value has doubled to $3.5 billion and it is at the 31st position. The reason for the increase in its brand value is the emphasis on innovation and expansion in the business of fast delivery of goods. Maruti Suzuki dominated the automobile sector and is at the 17th position. It was followed by Bajaj Auto and it was at the 20th position. Mahindra & Mahindra’s brand valuation has increased by 78 percent and it is at the 30th position. This year’s ranking is based on the opinion of 1.41 lakh participants on 1,535 brands in 108 categories.
