NEET 2024 Result: NTA’s clarification on the controversy, formed a committee to investigate, denied paper leak

Director General of National Examination Agency (NTA) Subodh Singh said that the Ministry of Education has constituted a committee to re-examine the results of more than 1,500 candidates who got grace marks in NEET-UG. A big step has been taken on the controversy that arose after the NEET-UG exam results. He said that the committee reviewing the NEET-UG grace marks issue will submit the report within a week. The Director General said that out of 4750 centers, this problem was limited to only 6 centers. Out of 24 lakh students, only 1600 students faced this problem. The sanctity of this examination was not compromised in the whole country. No paper was leaked. The entire examination process has been very transparent. He said that the results of NEET candidates who have been given grace marks can be revised and this will not affect the admission process. He said that they (the committee) will meet soon and they will be able to submit their recommendation within a week.

He said that the CWC (Congress Working Committee) unanimously requested Rahul Gandhi to take the post of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha. Rahul ji is the best person to lead this campaign inside Parliament. KC Venugopal said, “Rahul Gandhi told the CWC that he will take a decision very soon (on becoming the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha). When asked which seat (Rae Bareli or Wayanad) Rahul Gandhi will keep, he said, “This decision has to be taken before the 17th and it will come in 3-4 days.”
